Prize Draw Rules
These official rules ("the rules") apply to the SCC01 recruitment prize draw conducted by YouGov plc. By entering the prize draw, you agree to be bound by these rules.
- Eligibility:
- This prize draw is only open to residents of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
- The prize draw is not open to employees of YouGov plc, its subsidiaries and affiliates and suppliers or those domiciled with such employees or members of their immediate family.
- Promotion Period:
- Entries will be accepted for the prize draw from Wednesday 18th March 2008 to Sunday 27th April 2008.
- YouGov reserves the right to extend the entry period.
- No purchase is necessary. How to Enter:
- By completing the survey. The survey requires you to submit your email address;
- OR by sending an email to us at supportUK@yougov.com with subject line reading 'YouGov UK Panel Draw Entry SCC01 recruitment' and providing your name, address, telephone number in the UK and your personal email address within the message body. Email entries must be received within the promotion period.
- Limitation of Entries:
- Only one entry per person is permitted.
- Only one entry per email address is permitted.
- Prizes:
- The prizes to be awarded are as follows:
- £500 Virgin Experience voucher
- £250 John Lewis voucher
- £100 Ticketmaster voucher
- Two £75 Ticketmaster vouchers
- Ten £50 Arcadia vouchers
- There will be no cash alternative to prizes. No transfer or assignment of prizes will be permitted except by YouGov plc.
- YouGov plc reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value.
- Winners will be determined by a random draw from all eligible entries, to be held within 5 working days from the date of the survey closing. YouGov reserves the right to postpone the draw until a later date should the survey entry period be extended. All decisions are final and binding.
- The prizes to be awarded are as follows:
- Notification:
- Winners will be notified by email, post, or telephone within 14 days of the date of the draw. The winner may be required to provide YouGov plc with proof that the winner is the authorised account holder of the email address associated with the winning entry. The winners will have 28 days from notification to accept the prize by sending an email to supportUK@yougov.com. Details of prize winners are available by writing to YouGov plc, 50 Featherstone street, London, EC1Y 8RT enclosing a stamped, self-addressed business size envelope.
- The winner must reply to the notification within 28 days of the date that the email was sent in order to claim the prize. If after one month no email is received claiming a prize, the winner will not be eligible for that prize. For all unclaimed prizes left after one month, a new set of prize draw winners will be selected. Again these prize draw winners must reply to the notification within 28 days of notification to claim the prize. This process continues until all have been claimed.

- Liability:
YouGov is not responsible for late, lost, misdirected, mechanically reproduced, mis-delivered, incomplete, illegible, or unintelligible entries, messages or post; unavailable network connections; failed, incomplete, garbled, or delayed computer transmission; on line failures; hardware software or other technical malfunctions or disturbances; or any other communications failures or circumstances affecting, disrupting or corrupting the prize draw in any manner including without limitation, receipt of entries, entrance ability to participate in the prize draw winner notification, or winner response to notification. YouGov plc is also not responsible for any damage to entrant's computer occasioned by participation in the prize draw or downloading of any information necessary to participate in the prize draws.
